7:15–8:15 Dr. Rob Lane, a retired medical oncologist from the Seattle medical community will be with us to discuss the role of a medical oncologist in the cancer journey. In addition, he will tell us about his passion since retirement of focusing on the importance of emotional support in dealing with cancer. Dr Lane attended our group last year and shared some very significant words of wisdom which left everyone wanting for more. This will be an excellent meeting to bring spouses and other family members.
